What a cutie! Isn't it sweet how something like sunshine, that so many take for granted, can make a kitty happy.
Posted by: Toni at August 7, 2008 11:02 AM
That Bob is sooo cute! He almost makes me want to get a cat!
Posted by: Gayle at August 7, 2008 11:09 AM
Bob is such a Snug-Bun!
Posted by: schnoobie at August 7, 2008 11:11 AM
How big is Bob that he won't fit into the standard cat perch platform?
He is not scared of sunshine too?
Posted by: lenora at August 7, 2008 11:22 AM
Bob seems very much like my Leon who is continually surprised and terrorized by that long striped thing by his butt.
He has a very short attention span!
Posted by: robinv at August 7, 2008 11:22 AM
Cute kitty! Bob must be a big name poet. Big enough to sit in his high up ivory tower-er perch-but too big for his pensiveness:)His look is sooo sweet. What a cute cuddly he is:)
Posted by: Chris at August 7, 2008 11:28 AM
These pictures made my day. Thanks, CAP!
Posted by: Kit at August 7, 2008 11:33 AM
Why do the kitties love to fit their furry bods in spaces that are way too small for them?
I always heart pics of your furbabies.
Have a great day............summer's almost over......yayyyyyy
Posted by: Shari from Ohio at August 7, 2008 11:35 AM
Ah, we should all have such a life as Bob's.
Posted by: Marilyn at August 7, 2008 11:40 AM
Love it! I wish I could just sit at home and sun-watch all day long. :)
Posted by: madalyn at August 7, 2008 11:48 AM
Shakes-a-Bob. Thank you for the serene photos of His Furryness. Sweet handsome Bob.
Posted by: cecelia at August 7, 2008 11:50 AM
Wow! What a loooong tail! Please tell Bob he's a handsome fellow.
Posted by: anne at August 7, 2008 12:21 PM
wonderful bob, marvelous bob, glorious bob, magical bob!
Posted by: anne marie in philly at August 7, 2008 12:21 PM
Oooooh, our Daily Bob!!
Posted by: sascha at August 7, 2008 12:28 PM
My poor cat Zubi can't seem to fit his 16.5 lbs of girth in the kitty condo I bought. He lays in there with his head poking out one side and his posterior unceremoniously dangling out the back. How's Frankie the Supermodel? She's not jealous that Bob has been getting the spotlight lately, is she?
Posted by: Tina B at August 7, 2008 12:29 PM
No offense to Sir Bob, but nice to see that even the creatures who come fully clothed have fit issues. Do you think he really does his own writing? Or is Bob just a pen name?
Posted by: Robby at August 7, 2008 12:30 PM
Aaah Bob! The Bard could do no better.
Posted by: trashalou at August 7, 2008 12:34 PM
OH boy, I don't think it's healthy for me to laugh this hard before cocktail hour.....
Posted by: LisaKnitz at August 7, 2008 01:00 PM
Awwww - - he is SO SWEET! I just want to reach through the computer screen and snuggle him . . . :-)
Posted by: Liz J in Central Illinois at August 7, 2008 01:06 PM
And yet, by heaven, I think Sir Bob as rare
As any cat, belied by false compare.

Posted by: smokeyJoe at August 7, 2008 01:21 PM
Alas, poor Bob! He knew his kibbles too well!
Posted by: Lynette at August 7, 2008 01:22 PM
Love the furries! How do you get them all to get along so well? I have two and want to get a kitten (crazy, I know!) but am afraid of what consequences may follow!
Posted by: Amy at August 7, 2008 01:26 PM
Bob pictures are the perfect treat for a hectic day!!
Posted by: Justin at August 7, 2008 01:40 PM
Ah yes! Bob Shakespeare. One of my favorite yet little-known writers. Move over William! It's Bob's turn!! ;)
Posted by: Liz R at August 7, 2008 01:40 PM
Hehehe, how funny. I'm sure if the perch were bigger, he wouldn't like it so much!

I'm happy that you've posted cat pictures today. It always makes me happy to see your babies. One of my foster kittens didn't make it this morning so I needed some Bob-cheeriness.
Posted by: Kristina at August 7, 2008 02:29 PM
Ah, what a bard. That cat just couldn't get any cuter, and you give them all such life.
BTW, you inspired me and I started my own blog. I linked to you today and recommended your book. Hope you sell lots and become a millionaire.
Posted by: Betts at August 7, 2008 02:44 PM
awww, Bob is so poetic!
Posted by: suetreiber at August 7, 2008 03:18 PM
Ah, such a BOB!! My own Olivia (who could be Bob's twin) loves to get into a kitty bed that is WAY too small for her somewhat substantial self.
And is it just me, or do the American Apparel people have inordinately poor taste in ads, or are they all just blind?
Posted by: sally at August 7, 2008 03:49 PM
Omygod, everytime I read the entries with Bob I laugh myself stupid. You have the most uncanny ability to match hiliarious 'talk' with Bob's facial expressions.
Ever thought of just a Bob book? "Bob's Words of Wisdom" LOL!!!!!
Posted by: Barbara at August 7, 2008 04:11 PM
Hey Bob!
Finny has issues with his tail too - come and see him chase it!

Bob rocks Shakespeare like no one's business.
Posted by: Jennifer at August 7, 2008 04:51 PM
That was cute! Loved the captions, funny! :)
Posted by: Anita at August 7, 2008 06:04 PM
He is very lovely.
I also had kept the cat in old times.

Maybe it's time to knit Bob et al a Kitty Pi felted kitty bed by Wendy Knits!
http://media.wendyknits.net/knit/kittybed.htm
(Don't miss the Kitty Bed Flickr Group, with tons of happy cats in their new beds.
He'd be soo comfortable, and felting is fun.

This is soooooo cute!
Posted by: Miss Lissy at August 7, 2008 06:38 PM
Your blog is such a pleasant place to "travel to" when life is sad. Bob also seems to like your place better than Stratford-upon-Avon!
Posted by: Carol at August 7, 2008 06:47 PM
Bob enjoys the simple pleasures...
Posted by: Andree at August 7, 2008 07:17 PM
Love Bob!
I love that you're posting more cat pictures! Heh! Not that I don't appreciate your writing of course, but everyone loves cat pictures ;-)
Posted by: Jen at August 8, 2008 01:33 AM
A cat! A cat! My kingdom for a cat!
Posted by: Mary at August 8, 2008 07:39 AM
I agree with sally; American Apparel is pushing the envelope a bit.
Posted by: Sheila at August 8, 2008 07:58 AM
Kisses to Bob!!!!
Posted by: alli at August 8, 2008 09:05 AM
I'm a cat person AND a British Lit. teacher, so I love Bob's quotes! Thanks for the chuckle.
Posted by: chris at August 8, 2008 12:10 PM
Oh, Bob, when wilst thou find a perch into which you do not runneth over?
Posted by: Aimee at August 8, 2008 12:52 PM
My friend found your website and forwarded it to me. You are my new hero, and I fit the category (um...30 something...cat...newly divorced...knitter...the rest!)
You so rock!
Posted by: Kristin at August 9, 2008 06:04 AM
Now see -- you go along thinking our cats just can't be any better - and then you discover that they're LITERATE on top of it! That's it, I'm putting "The Complete Works of Edgar Allen Poe" in Evangeline's bed to see what comes of it.
