Posted by: hamle06 at March 3, 2008 10:22 AM
And probably purring as well.
Sweet kitty kitty.

I think he has a case of the Mondays!
Posted by: Frances at March 3, 2008 10:29 AM
Perhaps he's gotten a hankering for bacon??
Posted by: Liz R at March 3, 2008 10:34 AM
Actually Bob has learned to knit and this is the face he makes when he is trying to k1,yo,sl1,k2tog,psso,yo,k1. Workin' that tongue always does the trick.
Posted by: helena handbasket at March 3, 2008 10:54 AM
But how can you possibly be annoyed with squishy, hairy, adorable face???? Hi Bob! Long time, no see! ;)
Posted by: Leeny at March 3, 2008 10:55 AM
"Who loves ya, baby?"
Posted by: Cathy M at March 3, 2008 11:00 AM
Actually, it kind of looks like he's giving you the finger ... could it be? Surely not!
Posted by: ccr in MA at March 3, 2008 11:05 AM
Ah, Bob. You're so cute.

Ah, Bob. You're so cute.
Posted by: Laurie Ann at March 3, 2008 11:11 AM
He kind of looks like Bill the Cat (Berkeley Breathed).
Posted by: Anna at March 3, 2008 11:11 AM
At second glance, it looks like Bob is making some kind of secret Italian/Mob gesture. Don't ask me how I know. Just watch your back for a few days, okay?
Posted by: Liz R at March 3, 2008 11:15 AM
Yay Bob! We've missed you.
Posted by: Lucia at March 3, 2008 11:28 AM
You know that Jeff Foxworthy line, right? "You might be a redneck if ... you honestly believe women are turned on by tongue gestures and animal noises." Does he like C&W?
Posted by: Anna-Liza at March 3, 2008 11:31 AM
Now THAT'S a Kodak moment!
Posted by: Nichole at March 3, 2008 11:40 AM
Hey, you feed a cat lemons, you get cat tongue.
Nice shot!
Posted by: steve d. at March 3, 2008 11:41 AM
bob says "you are NOT paying enough attention to me, woman!"
more cat pix, please!
Posted by: anne marie in philly at March 3, 2008 11:53 AM
I think Sobakawa is sending him some messages thru mental telepathy (either that or she's behind you holding up cue cards, and Bob cant read them without glasses)
Soba is probably telling him to ask you for all the catnip in the house. So that she can have it all to herself.
Or Bob could just have a little gas.
Posted by: ErinLindsey at March 3, 2008 11:56 AM
I'm with Erin. He just asked Frankie to pull his paw. **poot**
Posted by: Marilyn at March 3, 2008 12:10 PM
Hi Laurie, well, is it possible that Bob got into the "sacramental wine"?
Posted by: audie at March 3, 2008 12:19 PM
Bob is merely contimplating his next meal and licking his whiskers in anticipation! :)
Posted by: heidi at March 3, 2008 12:21 PM
Hee, Liz R - wrong on-line cat!
Posted by: Pegkitty at March 3, 2008 12:32 PM
Only one question remains: why, oh why, do you not have a flickr set full of crazy cat pictures yet? It's not like you have to worry about earning a reputation as a crazy cat lady. :o)
Posted by: breanna at March 3, 2008 12:58 PM
Do believe you are getting a "Hey baby" look.
Posted by: Debbie at March 3, 2008 12:58 PM
Or is it Bob, the great Artiste, squinting at his canvas (the couch maybe?) and contemplating the purrrfect spot to begin his latest Masterpiece?
Posted by: eeyore at March 3, 2008 01:12 PM
he definitely looks like he up to something.
Posted by: suetreiber at March 3, 2008 01:19 PM
Ah, gotta love a furry face!
.
Posted by: The Other Ruth at March 3, 2008 01:28 PM
I just thought of this possibility.
Unbeknownst to Sobakawa, Bob has his own manifesto for world domination, and he's getting ready to put the plans into motion.
First, he'll arrest Sobakawa and her minion (Frankie) and then he'll take over as the dominant life form of the world (the world = Laurie's house)
Once he has complete control of all the catnip in the house, and full possesion of THE litter box. Then he will move on to his plan to take over the universe. (universe = Laurie's yard...is Bob an outside cat?)
That look on his face in the picture, is just Bob being caught in an unguarded moment when he's giggling about how wonderful a plan he has, and how he's going to make the Great Sobakawa bow down to him in all his furry glory.
Posted by: ErinLindsey at March 3, 2008 01:45 PM
It has been my experience that cats will do that. Now I have dogs.
Posted by: Milly at March 3, 2008 02:20 PM
I think he got into the wine. Wait maybe YOU got into the wine and that's why he looks so psychodelic!! Either way I'm SO glad to see kitty pics!
Posted by: Lynn at March 3, 2008 03:33 PM
He looks like all those Japanese tourists taking pictures. If he could make a peace sign it would be complete.
Posted by: Red at March 3, 2008 03:34 PM
No, that's the same face I make when I realize it's Monday. It's a "go away monday" face. Cute Bob!!!
Posted by: Jena at March 3, 2008 03:59 PM
Awwww - - what a cute face!

It's been too long between kitty shots. Hi, Bob.
So pretty.
Posted by: Maureen at March 3, 2008 06:28 PM
But he IS winking too....I read somewhere that when a cat slowly closes his eyes while looking at you, he's saying "I love you1" (Maybe the tongue was just sort of hanging out?)
Posted by: dale-harriet your bubbe in WI at March 3, 2008 06:52 PM
oooohhhh I could take that cute little face inbetween my hands, give him a little squeeze and a big sloppy kiss on the top of his head. What a cutey!
Posted by: jeanpeace at March 4, 2008 05:04 AM
Sometimes my cat just sort-of forgets to put her tongue away when she's done having a bath. Seems like a brand of absentmindedness that Bob might subscribe to as well. But he's absolutely giving you a come hither wink!
Posted by: katelaines at March 4, 2008 06:15 AM
I think it's that Harry Dupree thing.
Posted by: cursingmama at March 4, 2008 06:54 AM
Love you Bob! He is such a sweetie, he needs some good tummy snorgles!
More cat pictures!
Posted by: Nancy O. at March 4, 2008 07:09 AM
He's too cute...let's squeeze him!
Posted by: Vivian at March 4, 2008 07:23 AM
I hear Bogie..."here's looking at you kid". tee hee hee. Hi Bob, you're lookin' handsome with those awesome cheekbones and gorgeous fur.
Posted by: cecelia at March 4, 2008 08:42 AM
Oh, man, anybody could love that face, even when he's sticking his tongue out! Purr~
Posted by: sputnik at March 4, 2008 09:18 AM
That photo says to me, a la Joey Tribiani,
How YOU doin'?
Posted by: Terri at March 4, 2008 09:48 AM
He's washing the lens of your camera so we can see him better. I think...
Posted by: Leslie in Mass at March 4, 2008 10:23 AM
Not my Bob. No way. He's just giving you a playful, goofy-face wink.
Posted by: Kris at March 4, 2008 01:09 PM
what a great picture
Posted by: KSee at March 4, 2008 03:07 PM
Bobalicious!!!
Posted by: dotty at March 4, 2008 04:04 PM
I'm getting a distinct, "Well, hel-lo, ladies," flirty Bob vibe. Right back at'cha, big guy, but no tongue on the first date.
Posted by: Ann Rose at March 5, 2008 12:37 PM
Reminds me of our Natasha. She'll fall asleep with her tongue sticking out - insanely cute. How she keeps from biting it is beyond me!
Posted by: boomette at March 5, 2008 06:47 PM
Hahaha, love the pic!
