Those tacos sound like they're to die for. Why is the food so much better in California? You can go into any Taco Bell in CA and get food that's actually edible, whereas around here you can just smell the fried cockroaches all the way down the block.

We loved Tennessee and Texas when we visited there. If it weren't for the families, I might have been able to make a good case for moving to Nashville, just for proximity to Uncle Bud's. (Which has evidently disappeared, since we couldn't find them last time we were there three years ago.)

Doesn't hurt that I'm not that far out of the south. If you put someone from Little Egypt (southern Illinois) next to someone from Kentucky, they'll sound enough alike to be family.

(True story: the southern Illinois doctor who killed both his sons was my Mom's doctor for years before we moved up near St. Louis. He took out my tonsils when I was four.)

I'm assuming you are talking about the Wigwam Village Motel in Cave City, Kentucky -- because I just googled it, and I have changed my life dream from seeing the Great Wall of China to sleeping in one of those awesome wigwams!

Can't resist David Caruso's "H" character. We watch just to say "H" everytime he is on screen. Even during the previews.....

Cornbread dressing! Yummmmmm! Tai, it's what you might call "stuffing" except you make it out of cornbread (and onion, green peppers, chicken broth, sausage if you're feeling sassy), not bread crumbs, and you bake it in a baking dish, not inside of the turkey. It is sooooo good. Thank you, Aunt Purl! I'm not going to be with my family this Turkey Day--going to the bf's--and I don't know what their philosophy is on stuffing vs. dressing. I think they are stuffing people, whereas I am most definitely a dressing girl. I might have to offer to make some dressing, just for comparison's sake.

I posted the meme over on my blog... much better than working this Monday morning! Now I really, really want to eat all my favorite foods, though!

I am sooooooooooo happy to see that I am not the only person in the world who isn't afraid to say that I LOVE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW!!! I've seen the movie a bazillion times and I still get chills when Frank N. Furter makes his entrance from the elevator....
I've seen Tim Curry sing live at the Roxy in Hollywood and he was amazing! I followed Kim Milford's career until he died. (He was the original Rocky in the original stage play.)

I love to sing the songs from the show while I'm in the car. I do this at the top of my lungs so everyone around me and enjoy it, too!
