More fun than a barrel of monkeys!
This is a widget, and I hope you add yourself:
I added myself to my own map because I am really that big of a nerd. Also? 4:39 p.m. on a Tuesday. 'Nuff said.

You know, I've always wondered exactly how much fun a barrel of monkeys is....
Posted by: Jaimi at November 15, 2005 04:48 PM
OK, why does it say that I posted the CAP photo? I just posted one for me. Or is it just glitching on my 'puter?
Posted by: Kay at November 15, 2005 04:50 PM
This is MORE fun, so you know. Guess a barrel of monkeys isn't really that exhilirating?
Posted by: laurie at November 15, 2005 04:50 PM
i added myself too because i didn't know any better. am i the first commenter?
Posted by: maryse at November 15, 2005 04:52 PM

Posted by: maryse at November 15, 2005 04:52 PM
Kay, I have no idea... because I can see your pic, too, in fact I was thinking "I want that green scarf to go with the green hat I am wearing in my pic!!" hahahaha
Posted by: laurie at November 15, 2005 04:54 PM
maryse I totally stole this idea from your website!!
Posted by: laurie at November 15, 2005 04:54 PM
I totally look like some sort of crazy drug mule in that photo. I think I may need to go lie down.
Posted by: Libby at November 15, 2005 05:01 PM
Wow. It may be more fun than a barrel of monkeyz, but what about a roomful of drunken monkeyz?!?! Now *that* is FUN!!!
Posted by: MonkeyGurrrrl at November 15, 2005 05:14 PM
I love these frappr maps! I just added one to my blog, too!
Posted by: allison at November 15, 2005 05:37 PM
Long as we arent talking about monkeys that fling their poop at you...
Posted by: Nancy at November 15, 2005 07:32 PM
DAMN...I didn't know you could go world-wide. I put my home town instead of where I'm currently loacted. If I told you where I am I'd have to cut off your head and put it in the safe.
Posted by: haji-o-matic at November 15, 2005 07:33 PM
This was cool. I added a map to my blog.
Posted by: Beth at November 15, 2005 07:50 PM
I'm going to totally steal this idea from you...

Laurie, did you get the email I sent you yesterday about Frappr? Please don't tell me it went to your junk mail. I might cry. It has been a tough day!

Crap.....admiting to toal ignorance .... I added a pic fine but how do I add myself on the map?? Australia doesnt seem to have very clear maps of the different states, just the whole country.
Posted by: Carol at November 15, 2005 10:04 PM
First time commenting. I added myself :)
I love these maps, we did one on the knitty board a little while ago.
Posted by: Megan at November 15, 2005 10:30 PM
Carol I have no idea, in fact I was patting myself on the back for figuring out how to make an account and upload a picture, like I was EINSTEIN or something, so proud of myself, of course now I suspect I may have reached the pinnacle of my internets experience and from here it is all downhill LOL.
I love the map so much I want to marry it.
Posted by: laurie at November 15, 2005 10:44 PM
That is too much fun.. I sort of want to have a map too now!
Posted by: Gloria at November 15, 2005 10:52 PM

Suzi - the first to put in po-dunk Eastern NC into the map.

Posted by: wenders at November 16, 2005 05:58 AM

Posted by: IdahoHeidi at November 16, 2005 07:39 AM
Can't...stop...looking at map... Reading all of these shoutouts is terribly addicting. I had no idea. And Wow, Purl - you have readers all over the world! That must be so exciting! :)

Posted by: gray la gran at November 16, 2005 07:56 AM
It's National Geography Awareness week. Highly appropriate to add a Frapper Map to your blog!
Posted by: Eva at November 16, 2005 08:12 AM
now i want a map
Posted by: kiki at November 16, 2005 08:49 AM
I'd try this on my blog, but I'd screw it up!
Posted by: Anmiryam at November 16, 2005 08:51 AM
It doesn't seem to like my Mac. I can't see the map. And it doesn't like my city. If you want to know, I'm in Ottawa, ON Canada (sort of north of Syracuse, NY).
Posted by: JoVE at November 16, 2005 09:07 AM
That. Is. So. Cool!
Posted by: Lee at November 16, 2005 09:52 AM
Anmiryam, if I could figure it out, believe me... ANYONE CAN. I was so excited that I called jennifer: LOOK WHAT I MADE WITH MY OWN HANDS I MAYBE COULD BE A MAD HACKER. ha!
Posted by: laurie at November 16, 2005 09:54 AM
this is crazy. there's like almost 400 people that read your blog! your fame crossed the Atlantic and Pacific, too! I dare to say you're almost as famous as Paris Hilton, but cuter, smarter and geekier.
Posted by: Anna at November 16, 2005 10:10 AM
Supercool. I added myself to your map. There is also another map app (called Bravenet) that does basically the same thing. It's fun to see where all of your visitors are from!

Posted by: laura at November 16, 2005 01:51 PM
I added myself too...but can't see the map. Stupid work Internets.
Posted by: taral at November 16, 2005 03:15 PM
I added myself. I created one a few weeks ago for myself to keep track of the LYS I've been to. Yes, I am a knitting dork.
Posted by: knit chick at November 17, 2005 12:45 AM
I left my mark. Will you come leave yours on mine?
:)
