Your cat is staring at me. Seriously.

That "woo hoo" you hear coming from the Gulf of Mexico is me realizing I am indeed. the. first. commenter.

Posted by: ~drew emborsky~ at August 26, 2005 07:45 AM

Drew! Sobakowa can see you! She's actually a really sweet cat, as long as you stay on her good side.

Of course, figuring out which side is the good side can be a task....

Posted by: laurie at August 26, 2005 07:48 AM

Very pretty furbaby. I'm just afraid if I were to tell her that I would get swatted. hehe

Posted by: Becky at August 26, 2005 07:59 AM

Kitty pictures rule!

Posted by: Vicki at August 26, 2005 08:08 AM

Yay! Kitty pictures! Thanks Laurie. Sobakow is such a beautiful cat. And so majestic.

Posted by: Mary in Boston at August 26, 2005 08:09 AM

Sobo is just gorgeous!

Posted by: cheryl at August 26, 2005 08:10 AM

Stop it. You're freaking me out. Really! STOP IT!!

Posted by: Nancy at August 26, 2005 08:38 AM

I am not suggesting a name name, but Chairman Meow is genius!

Posted by: jillian at August 26, 2005 08:44 AM

But Chariman Meow, who would open your cat food cans? And scoop your litter box? Really, you must keep yor human alive for these things, we assure you!

Posted by: Shadow and Kimmie at August 26, 2005 09:13 AM

Whoops, cats also don't spell too well. Lack of opposable thumbs. That's CHAIRMAN Meow, your Sobakawaness, Ma'am.

Posted by: Shadow and Kimmie at August 26, 2005 09:15 AM

Lovely. Good luck on your project launch today. May the White Men in Ties fall down mercifully at your feet.

Posted by: Beth at August 26, 2005 09:28 AM

i heart you sobokowa.

Posted by: kendra at August 26, 2005 09:32 AM

DD#1 has a cat that looks at your like that. He gives you the death glare, "charges" you and makes you jump out of your skin, and is generally pissy all the time. He makes MY cat do all the work around the house, like beg for food, secure invites to the family table, etc.

But what happens when DD#1 is out of the house? He suddenly wants to be your friend..."pet me!" "love me!" "feed me!" Sooooo predictable...

Posted by: Shelly at August 26, 2005 09:52 AM

I love your cat pics and accompanying commentary. I swear my cats are doing the same plotting. I can feel it.

Posted by: Jennifer at August 26, 2005 10:13 AM

I know how the Chairman feels...I've had the same look on my face for the past month now.

Your cat pics/captions RULE! :-)

Posted by: Sandee at August 26, 2005 10:20 AM

LOL! :)

Posted by: Jessica at August 26, 2005 10:29 AM

I adore that cat. A tortie with an attitude are the best kind!

Posted by: Kim at August 26, 2005 11:26 AM

Can I borrow the Chairman for work? There's some folks who need some Stare Down.

Posted by: taral at August 26, 2005 12:25 PM

Dearest Chairman Meow,

I have admired you from afar for some time now. You are a feline after my own heart. I adore your powerful paws and your ability to compose diabolical manifestos. Please contact me ASAP so we can devise a strategy for getting rid of all those pesky kittens in our lives AND figure out a way to make the humans do our bidding 100 percent of the time.

Highest regards,
His Royal Highness Prince Sunny Bunny of Ohio

Dear Chairman Soba - We await your final command to rise up, shed and shred.
Sincerely, The Big Fat (Ca)Shew and her minions.

your cats are crazy, not you!!! heehee
have a great weekend. =)

Posted by: lynette at August 26, 2005 03:19 PM

How long have you had Ch. Meow? My tortie who looked remarkably similar AND had an attitude disappeared about a year ago... I don't suppose.... just hoping.

Posted by: PainterWoman at August 26, 2005 04:02 PM

Ugh, to be one of our cats...that's what I want to be reincarnated as - one of my cats. To live in a cushy home, have people wait on me hand and paw...and then my nasty attitude and fat belly would be considered "cute" and posted on the internets.

Thanks for stalking Stacy via my blog! I stalk you through hers too! You blogstalker, you.

Posted by: marissa at August 26, 2005 04:43 PM

So adorable. I looove cattitude!

Posted by: Vanessa at August 26, 2005 04:52 PM

Looks quite like my cat Ewok. My cat is nuts though, she hears many voices. The other cats all told me so.

Posted by: Denise at August 27, 2005 07:09 AM

what a handsome dude!

Posted by: donni at August 27, 2005 09:04 AM

Perry the Bi-Polar, Princess of Orange Cats, sends her kindest regards to Sobakowa, Chairman Meow.

psst - Soba - remember to use your front paws to grab her ankles when she's not getting your food fast enough! It works every time - this one hops!

Posted by: Leslie at August 28, 2005 05:59 AM

Your cat posts kinda make me want to get a cat. And I am not a cat person. But I think I would like to have a pissy cat, and think of a great name like Chairman Meow.

Three phrases should be among the most common in our daily usage. They are: Thank you, I am grateful and I appreciate.
